Retired now and the savings aren't exactly overflowing. Finding work at my age is easier said than done, so I've been thinking about trying my luck at a casino to bring in a bit extra. Fortune has been on my side more often than not throughout my life, so thought it might be worth a go. Which casinos in the UK would you say are actually trustworthy?

Casinos are built in a way that the house always comes out ahead over time. Even people who consider themselves genuinely lucky tend to walk away with less than they came in with once they've played long enough. Relying on it as a source of income is a road that's led a lot of people into serious financial trouble, and savings that took a lifetime to build can disappear faster than you'd expect in that environment.

The sensible approach is to treat it as entertainment with a fixed amount you're comfortable losing rather than a money-making strategy. There are plenty of UK online casino options that are properly licensed and straightforward to use. Worth having a look at what this casino UK offers here
