Accessing Twitter from China for work

Post by Ategnatos »

I got sent on assignment to China where I'll be staying for a long time as a journalist covering events in the country. I need to post news updates to Twitter regularly, but just found out Twitter is blocked here. How do I get around this restriction to access the platform?

VPNs are the standard solution for getting around blocks like this. Download a reliable VPN service before you arrive or while you still have access. Once it's set up, you can connect to servers outside China and access Twitter like normal. Just make sure to get a paid VPN that actually works there, free ones usually get detected and blocked quickly.
